Quicker journey time from Kingswells to Union street area - Number 11 service journey time is ideal, X40 can take too long

The number 23 seems a very well used route with plenty of buses. Perhaps extending one of those services every 40 minutes or so to serve Kingswells may off set the fact, according to First Bus, that the Kingswells bus loses money.

The current service is OK, but could miss out the P&R and also it would be better if it travelled along the Queens Road route (don't know the route name). Like the old number 15 (or was it 14 ?). Anyway, then the whole travelling time it takes to reach town is about 25 minutes.......excellent.

  • If the route returns to a normal service (not a restricted stop service) is there merit in extending the 23 to Sheddocksley, or the 11 to Woodend. What are the issues?
