HAHAHAHAHAHAH Wobbly heads (I really laughed), never heard that one before.....
I'm sorry but I don't know who Meg is, but as for the ladder thingy it sounds very funny but hey if it works...
I've never seen Brookside (I've led a quiet and sheltered life - yeh right I hear you say) haha. But I must agree let the Post Office and Chemist move first.
But deary, deary me the horror of your last line, no need to go to Union St when Kingswells has all you need a ? hehehehe
Wobbly heads don't do drugs, they just be happy with life & smile.
The ones from the ex colonial oil rich country with friends having difficulty moving money from their bank accounts only have two gears "fast" & "slow"
Anyway let us all stop being so racist & so judgemental, we should live happily together & think community.
On the subject of the community centre looking like a movie set from Beirut.
Meg should ask her new friends at Drum for their help ?
A ladder or long reach thingy on wheels, to get the vegetation out of the gutters for a start.
Mind you, just wind the clock back & think “Barry Grant” from “Brookside”…..he had a fitting solution for such an ugly looking shopping centre. But please let the Chemist & Post office relocate first. They be the good guys in this “soap”…my giro & my prescriptions!!!!
Rumour has it that "Cash Convertors" & "Ramsdens" are moving into the ex Considine shop. A sign of the times!!!
hahahahahaha 'methadone' my [email protected] ......
I saw one of our overseas friends jump a red light the other day.....they must be colour blind as well as not being able to read English. Mind you I could have got their number but they were driving like a bat out of hell.......it seems like we're the only ones with a Highway Code.
Maybe they're all on methadone hehe !
mmmmmmmhhhh I must agree it does look a bit rough at times & usually smells of stale chip fat. But however the long dark nights are approaching us yet again & this will mask the scheme.
Mind you I only go to the Chemist for my methadone, so I will not have to look at the ugly mess for much longer. I will have to be very careful crossing the road. The car & bus drivers from overseas can be a bit reluctant at times in observing our Highway Code.
As a responsible citizen belonging to the community of the village of Kingswells, we as individuals are all responsible for keeping the village respectable, clean & tidy.
No point in pointing the finger at Tom, Dick & Harry, as they will only play the denial game & only add further confusion & chaos.
Adopt the approach “when you see it, you own it”
You must forget the fact that you make financial contributions towards council tax, resident association’s, etc. You have to do your bit of voluntary charity work now & again.
.....has become a real eyesore lately. Rubbish, weeds growing between the paving slabs, dirty sticky looking walkways YUK. Who is responsible for keeping this clean ? ACC or KCC ? I know we're becoming a third world county but do we really have to look like it ?
