The X94 and the 94 bus services seem to be working well, but they don’t suit everyone.

The buses on the X17 service are not always suitable for disabled users.

There was a view that we need to encourage people to use the 94 and x94 services to provide justification for extending the service to include weekends.

The NHS bus cannot be used by residents. A NHS pass is required.

We could use Facebook to advertise he new bus services and the questionnaire.

Matters Arising from the previous meetings

Cost of repairing the noticeboards is large, and we should look at the cost of new boards.

Kathy reported that the stickers on bins near bus stops have been removed. These bins are no longer multi-purpose dog and general waste bins.

Trevor is to contact Chris to get a bin fixed to a post.

Dave continues to work on the water issues at Derbeth with SMG. Dave will keep KCC informed of any progress.

Dave

Bert is still working on the issues with traffic islands. No progress to report.

Planning & Environmental Issues

Pippa discussed her ideas for possible plans for a community garden. We are still awaiting feedback from members of the public.

8

Accounts

No major change to the accounts.

£25 on ink.

9

AOCB

There was a report of excessive use of weedkiller by ACC, and this was affecting dogs. The Vet confirms that there has been a lot of sickness and the source could be weedkiller.

Trevor is to send email to Steven Shaw. Ian is to provide contact details.
