UPDATE: Lighting of the foot path running directly behind Kingswood Mews
Tue, 20/04/2010 - 23:23 — IanA Kingswells resident approached Kingswells Community Council (KCC) requesting that some sort of lighting be installed on the path running directly behind Kingswood Mews (within the playing field) which connects Kingswood Drive to the Village Centre.
KCC wrote to ACC requesting that they investigate to see if lighting is required. They responded stating that in the current financial climate , ACC does not have any additional funding to add to infrastructure.
Desperately seeking four knights in shining armour
Mon, 29/03/2010 - 03:13 — IanOn the evening of Friday 12th May, between 8pm & 9pm, Kingswells resident, Rita Oakes, began to feel unwell whilst out. She decided to head home and get to bed early, but whilst driving home, she took a turn for the worst - as she drove into the village, the car came to a stop by the roadside on Kingswells Avenue. Unknown to Rita, she was having a stroke! But 4 knights in shining armour were not far away!! A group of 4 young lads who were walking by could clearly see that her car was parked at an awkward angle and asked Rita if she needed some help.
