The Evening Express posted an article on the 'proposed' development at Home Farm last night. It would appear that it was not 100% accurate and exagerated the visual impact the development will have. See a response from the Developer below and the report the article was based on from this link.
An extract from an email requesting a comment on the news article.
Thank you for forwarding this article which, as discussed, we were not aware had appeared in last night's Evening Express. You will note that the article draws the majority of its information from the boards presented to the Community Council last month, and to the local community last November.
We are unaware as to how the paper has obtained a copy of this information, but can assure you that this is by no means a 'press release' on behalf of our client.
The images presented within the article are taken from Board 5 of our presentation - Exemplar Schemes - which, as you will recall, were discussed in order to illustrate the type of high quality development which would be proposed for the scheme, if the site were to be zoned for Business development by the emerging Local Development Plan.
The main image is taken from the Poleczki Business Park in Poland, and the minor, interior, image taken from the Maxim Business Park in North Lanarkshire. These images do not represent detailed proposals for the scheme. As was discussed we went met in May, we are still some time from being able to prepare such proposals, having still to engage further with the City Council, Historic Scotland and bodies such as yourselves.
