Treasurers Report

Current balance is £2,552

The planned CCTV has £3,000 ring fenced, and the 2007 project has £3,000 assigned. This is likely to be a new sign for Kingswells. John to provide sketches and cost estimates for the next meeting

AOCB

£3,000 was raised for a Scout Hut. One possible location is at Derbeth Park.

Crossing the A944 at the Kingswells Roundabout is difficult. It was suggested that changing the bus route would allow safe access to Kingswells.

Possible routes would be:

  1. a diversion from the roundabout at the Lang Stracht,
    1. turning right travelling towards the traffic lights at the Lang Stracht
    2. and then along the Lang Stracht to the village.
    3. Turn left along Fairly Road
    4. Retuning to the A944 and onward travel to Westhill.
  2. No stopping at the existing bus stop at the Kingswells Roundabout.
    1. Continue to turn right at Kingswells roundabout.
    2. Continue to turn right at traffic lights at Park
    3. Turn right into Fairley Road
    4.  and return to Westhill Road.

As this matter is currently being considered by the bus operator there is no need for further action by KCC.

Derbeth Grange pond is in a poor state. The area does not have a Residents' Association.
