Development proposed by developers. This is really a developers' wish list at the moment. Aberdeen City council will be scoring the developments against some planning criteria in the next few months and will issue what ACC thinks are the most suitable developments in September 09. At this time there will be a public sonsultations period of about 6 weeks where you can submit your views.

The development plan expanded to the north and south of Kingswells.
The Green areas are sites owned by ACC that hopefully will not be developed. They include Brimmond Hill to the NW, the central area is a site of special scientific interest, and the most easterly site is the community forest that was planted out
The purple area is land that is owned by Aberdeen City Council. Currently, ACC do not have specific plans for this land but it is identified for a future new community.

The thick blue line represents the AWPR which is planned to be complete in 2012 - 2013.
The yellow markers provide some additional notes and information.
The purple lines near the AWPR (blue line) represent the slip roads going onto and coming from the AWPR.
The development planned to the west of Kingswells is mainly offices and light industry, with a hotel near Kingswells house. At the back of the Vet's on part of Home Farm there is a plan for some housing.
The blue shaded are is a drainage area used by the AWPR, and will not be suitable for development.

The north end of the Home Farm development is for commercial use. The plan details a hotel by the A944, a further education establishment and a private hospital nearer the top of the hill.
At the back of Fairley Road Stewart Milne Group has plans for 50 new homes.
