2 Police Report
There was no police report this month.

There were 4 incidents with motorcycles, and thefts from cars. There were positive lines of enquiry.

 

Police

Speed survey for the Kingswells to Bucksburn road was attempted, but equipment was faulty. Survey will be redone using new equipment. Police
Speed checks found 2 offenders and they were given verbal warnings.

  KCC should arrange to meet with ACC Road Dept to discuss the roads around Kingswells.
  Broadband – work has stopped on cabinet 12, but the connection to High Speed fibre is expected to be complete by the end of December.
  3000 homes at Countesswells were approved. The access has been redesigned to avoid the Garden of Remembrance. The access to the Lang Stracht is now a flyover with an elongated roundabout.

KCC is to discuss the roads with other community councils in the CC Forum.

  KCC is to write to Stewart Milne Group with a list of maintenance issues. CC Steve. Alex
  Some work is currently being done to make trees by the school safe.
  Steve is to look out the report on the lights at the Kingswells roundabout. Steve

Last month’s minutes were approved.

6 Matters Arising from the previous meeting

7 Planning & Environmental Issues
There are some concerns with the access and road safety regarding the 4 homes at the corner of Fairley Road and Lang Stracht. Ian is to review when the revised plans are available.
8 Accounts
There was no change to the balance over last month.
9 AOCB
  Ron was concerned that there were issues with the email list used by KCC members.

Ian reported that the system was working and it had not been changed recently, except for changes to email addresses.

Ron requested the password to access the archive email. Ian said that he did not keep an archive as each member had all emails on their computers. This was effectively an archive.

Next meeting will be on Monday 10th November 2014 in coffee shop of Kingswells Community Centre. Meeting closed at 22:00.
